The Forward Festival Berlin takes place for the first time in summer at HKW and is dedicated to the diversity of creativity

Celebrating its fourth year in Berlin, the established annual meeting place for all disciplines of the creative industry will inspire audiences with 40+ speakers from creative fields such as AI, digital art, graphic design, typography, photography and much more. Across three stages, speakers will offer multidisciplinary inspiration and insights into their creative process while talking about the hottest topics in the industry such as artificial intelligence in creation, but also the importance of a hands-on approach.

More than 40 speakers on the hottest topics in the creative industry

Berlin in summer is always worth a trip - especially this year, as the Forward Festival returns to HKW Berlin for a summer edition. Tackling the hottest topics in the creative industry, the program ranges from industry heavyweights to local heroes, from talks and Q&As to workshops and exhibitions. The festival provides a platform for artists, designers and thinkers to gain new insights and exchange ideas with like-minded people. Whether it's graphic design and artificial intelligence, the world of film and photography, this vibrant event of creativity offers something for everyone. On three stages, speakers will give insights into their creative process and offer multidisciplinary inspiration while talking about the latest industry topics such as AI in art and creation, other future trends and the importance of practical implementation.

Artificial intelligence and new technologies as important controversial factors

The role of AI in the creative industry, especially for designers, is an important topic of the Festival Talks. Renowned creatives will offer insights into the topic, such as Berlin-based Taiwanese artist and CG image maker Ariel Lu, who will inspire the audience with the strength and beauty of vulnerability in the artworks she creates with Houdini. Shane Griffin, founder of GRIF Studio, will discuss how to create designs through innovation in various creative fields such as graphics and interior design. Driven by newness and inspired by the future, Future Deluxe will give an insight into the work of the creative studio that combines design, technology and moving images to create visual experiences that mesmerize. The integration of cutting-edge technologies into the world of creativity is expected to be a highlight amidst the many offerings of the festival's diverse program.
