Erich Kästner - back in Berlin

Literary walk with Marianne Mielke

Erich Kästner – Erich Kästner

Erich Kästner – Erich Kästner

In his journalistic and literary texts, we experience Erich Kästner as a keen observer of his time. The Nazis wanted to see decadence and moral decay in his critical, pacifist spirit. in 1933, Kästner had to watch as his books were burned.

Our literary walk commemorates Erich Kästner, who lived in Hermsdorf for a time between 1964 and 1969.

After the walk, we cordially invite you to join us in the museum for a cup of coffee and an exchange of ideas.

The tour takes about 2 hours.Translated with DeepL
