Colorful parade of the House of Indonesian Cultures

Guests can immerse themselves in the diversity of Indonesian cultures at this street parade, which takes spectators right through the Tempelhof neighborhood.

The House of Indonesian Cultures in Berlin-Tempelhof is taking part in this year's Fête de la Musique with a colorful parade. The parade will go from the House of Indonesian Cultures via the Wenckebach Clinic to Tempelhof Harbour and back. With the giant puppets Ondel-Ondel, performances of the Indonesian martial art Pencak Silat, as well as dance and music from the Betawi culture based in Jakarta, we will commemorate the cultural diversity of the city of Jakarta, which incidentally celebrates its birthday the next day. On the stage at Tempelhof Harbour, we will be part of the Fête program of the Leo Kestenberg Music School at around 3 pm.
