Gegen das Vergessen – Salo Muller

Ein Bericht mit Forderungskatalog an die deutsche Politik/ Gesellschaft.

Salo Muller, born 1936 in Amsterdam, Shoah survivor. 70 of Salo Muller's relatives, including his parents, were deported by the German Reichsbahn to Auschwitz concentration camp and their inevitable death. The Reichsbahn charged the deportees (including children) 40 Reichspfennig per kilometer, making a profit of 445,000,000 Reichsmark. The millions of deportations would not have been possible without the German Reichsbahn as a means of mass transportation. Salo Muller won the battle for compensation after 3 years with the Dutch Railways (Nederlandse Spoorwegen). The Deutsche Bahn, however, was opposed.
