Harlem Gospel Night - Oh Happy Day with Donna Brown

When the streets of Schöneberg around the magnificent brick building of the Apostel-Paulus-Kirche shine festively again, the famous Golden Gospel Pearls open their Christmas concert season.

Under the direction of Donna Brown, they brought gospel to Berlin in the early 1990s and have remained loyal to the city and the church ever since. The talented singers, accompanied by a bassist, a drummer and Donna Brown on the piano, present a diverse repertoire. With their soulful voices, they spread gospel flair with interpretations of “Amazing Grace”, “Down By The Riverside”, “The First Noel” and their own Christmas medleys.

To this day, the gospel movement radiates a positive and rousing energy, which can be felt in this show through the perfect singing. In the Apostle Paul Church, visitors can experience unique, reverent and at the same time exuberant performances. This wave of emotion and happiness will transport you into a joyful Christmas mood. Enjoy real gospel - from heart to heart.
