A plea for the street - the example of Kurfürstendamm (Germany, 1968)
Kurfürstendamm is a street with many functions - for shopping, living and strolling. A film from the former Landesbildstelle, which was commissioned by the Senator for Building and Housing, explores the question of what significance the Kurfürstendamm had in the past as a reflection of urban development and what it should have in the future. This is followed by a film discussion with Senate Building Director Prof. Petra Kahlfeldt and curator Christine Kisorsy.
