Irish Festival Berlin: Berlin meets Dublin

For the seventh time in a row, Berlin's ufaFabrik will present the Irish Festival Berlin on its open-air stage on August 16 and 17, 2024

With the duo Zoë Conway & John Mc Intyre, the singer BenSands and the formation Peacky Pluckers, internationally successful artists have also been won over for this year's festival, which already has a long tradition in Berlin.

And in 2024, Berlin-based musicians will once again show how traditional Irish music is cultivated here: The Fine Tunes.

Dance is an integral part of Irish culture: Gyula Glaser and Nicole Ohnesorge will be performing as soloists in 2024. Two Irish dance schools will also be presenting themselves in Berlin - Tap Connection and Jigs and Reels.

The internationally renowned author Hugo Hamilton (The Speckled People) will give an insight into his work and explain why storytelling is so important in Ireland.

And on both evenings, the program will be followed by an open session with traditional Irish music.
