Immerse yourself in a world full of god-like rulers, architectural wonders of the world and burial chambers full of gold: the immersive story takes you into a fascinating civilization that still captivates us today with its mysteries hidden in the desert sands and melting in the waters of the Nile.

The Tutankhamun exhibition experience is coming to the New Media Art Center on the RAW site

“Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition Experience” takes you back to a time when the gods of the land of the pyramids awoke and brings the imposing temples of ancient Egypt back to life before your eyes as impressively and colorfully as they were back then.  The discovery of the magnificently furnished, almost unplundered tomb of the young pharaoh Tutankhamun on November 4, 1922 by Howard Carter made the child king world-famous overnight. Almost hand in hand with the icon of ancient Egypt, you will learn more about the world of Tutankhamun, the mythology of ancient Egypt, the gods and the mysterious cult of the dead in a fun way. As an all-round experience for the whole family, the Tutankhamun exhibition invites you on a fascinating adventure trip to Ancient Egypt in several adventure rooms: In the exhibition room, you will discover the impressive sarcophagus together with the mummy and death mask of Tutankhamun, which have been recreated in original size. Exhibits are displayed in showcases and illustrate the special richness with which Tutankhamun's tomb was furnished.

Experience the world of Tutankhamun: Virtual reality and multimedia elements bring ancient Egypt within reach

In the virtual reality area of the exhibition, you become the hero of a journey through the labyrinthine paths of the Book of the Dead to the Judgement of Osiris and, if you successfully pass all the tests, attain eternal life. In the immersive show, the highlight of the exhibition, you immerse yourself in the history of Ancient Egypt in six intertwining stories. The journey in this multimedia experience takes you back to the Nile region, from the fertile banks of the river to the arid desert where breathtaking structures were built. You will experience a world full of magic and symbolism that still captivates us with its mysteries today. If you also venture into the metaverse, you will literally travel through time and space and wander around the Valley of the Kings. You move freely in space, are transported back to the year 1922 and enter Howard Carter's expedition camp; you explore Tutankhamun's tomb independently, the treasures are within your grasp.

Egyptian art immersive: Tickets for the Tutankhamun exhibition in Berlin

The multimedia highlight Tutankhamun: The immersive exhibition experience was opened in Madrid in November 2022 by “MAD - Madrid Artes Digitales” in its digital art center “MAD”, has already made guest appearances in Barcelona, Vienna, Hamburg and Stuttgart, and can currently also be experienced in the new Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza. The exhibition, which has already welcomed over 1.3 million visitors, has also won numerous prestigious international awards.
