The Gray Voice Ensemble: A Wonderful World

"A Wonderful World" evokes the afterlife of a discarded amusement park ride, guiding visitors through scenes and soundtracks populated by ghosts of the past, present and future.

The Gray Voice Ensemble was invited by Kinderhook & Caracas - a Berlin-based project space run by artists Sol Calero and Christopher Kline - to collaborate on an installation and performance that incorporates various relics of the Spreepark and captures the magic of ruins and disused objects. The interdisciplinary ensemble works under the direction of composer Elisabeth Wood and uses intergenerational dialogue and collective authorship to create a site-specific piece of music that can be experienced both live and as an immersive installation with audiovisual elements.
