"The denied. Victims of National Socialism 1933 - 1945 - today"

The traveling exhibition commemorates people who were persecuted under National Socialism as "asocials" and "professional criminals". The focus is on their experiences. Between 1933 and 1945, the authorities and police exploited social prejudices. They control, harass and deprive tens of thousands of their freedom. Many are murdered.

The Federal Republic of Germany, the GDR and Austria refused to compensate those affected. Their experiences of injustice are denied. It was not until 2020 that the German Bundestag decided to recognize them as victims of National Socialism.

The exhibition is officially opened in Berlin on October 10, 2024.

From October 11, 2024 to January 31, 2025 , interested parties can visit the exhibition at B.Place, Cora-Berliner-Straße 2, 10117 Berlin, from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm (last admission at 5.30 pm).

After the presentation in Berlin, the traveling exhibition will be shown at the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp Memorial and at other locations in Germany and Austria.
