With the cabinet exhibition New Realities. Stories of Art, AI & Work, the Museum für Kommunikation Berlin is presenting an excitingly curated show of photorealistic AI images from 26 April to 15 September 2024. In addition to the work between humans and AI, it also sheds light on the new working conditions of data workers. Guests are immersed in a world full of stories about a "workplace" that the curators Dr Annabelle Hornung, Maren Burghard and Stephanie Müller have recreated in the exhibition space based on a suggestion from the AI. The content and objects - from notes and posters on the walls, photos and postcards on the desk to audio stations - are the result of a creative collaboration with the AI. It becomes clear that the representation of reality by AI is not always unproblematic and has complex consequences for our society.
