In the Altes Museum, you can get to know Caesar and Cleopatra up close and take a new look at Athena, Aphrodite and the Amazons in the current special exhibition "Goddesses and Wives. Women in Ancient Myth", you can take a new look at Athena, Aphrodite and the Amazons. The permanent exhibition shows selected objects from the Collection of Classical Antiquities from the art of Ancient Greece to the Roman Empire. The architectural highlight of Karl Friedrich Schinkel's famous building is the central rotunda with statues of ancient deities.
