John Kolya Reichart: Immer wieder mittwochs

As part of its 150th anniversary, the Church of the Twelve Apostles in Berlin-Schöneberg is showing the photo exhibition. The pictures document a place of encounter at eye level.

The exhibition “Immer wieder mittwochs” is about the different people who come to the food bank. They are volunteers from the church community, neighbors from the neighborhood, people without a permanent residence and fixed income, pensioners, students, refugees, seekers or the curious. Some of them stand behind the food bank, others in front of it. But it doesn't really make a difference, because first and foremost, this is a place to meet, at eye level. Photographer John Kolya Reichart was there and portrayed these people in black and white in his impressive series.

Opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.Admission is free.

Runtime: Wed, 12/06/2024 to Thu, 05/09/2024
