Dittrich & Schlechtriem are delighted to present a special project by architect Gustav Düsing (born 1984 in Münster / lives and works in Berlin). The show, entitled “Ephemerals”, opens on August 16 from 6 to 8 pm and will be on display until August 31, 2024.

Düsing's work deals with the environment and the integration of living space into it

Düsing's constantly evolving approach combines architecture, natural phenomena and receptivity to environmental stimuli to create experiential spaces that challenge traditional perceptions of space and structure. Together with Max Hacke, Gustav Düsing was recently honored with the prestigious Mies van der Rohe Award for the student house at the University of Braunschweig, which is characterized by the innovative use of materials and the exemplary integration of the building into its natural environment.

An essay on the exhibition by Carson Chan, Director of the Emilio Ambasz Institute for the Joint Study of the Built and the Natural Environment and curator in the Department of Architecture and Design at MoMA in New York, will be published before the opening.

Runtime: Fri, 16/08/2024 to Wed, 31/07/2024
