Gerold Miller is the first contemporary artist to be invited to the Bröhan Museum for an intervention. The artist himself is invited to attempt a dialog between his works and the museum's collection objects. Gerold Miller (*1961) is one of the world's most successful non-representational artists. In his highly colorful works, he further develops the themes of Concrete Art and Hard Edge. His works revolve around the concepts of painting and sculpture. He combines the flawless and absolutely homogeneous color surfaces in mostly bright colors with equally perfect three-dimensional bodies made of aluminum. His artworks are children of the high-tech industrial world, which in the Bröhan Museum's collection meet the world of things at the beginning of the industrial age - a dialog of high visual intensity.
