Since 2 July 2014, the permanent exhibition "Resistance to National Socialism" has documented the entire social breadth and ideological diversity of the struggle against the National Socialist dictatorship. The presentation of individual life fates and the emergence of networks of resistance, of the motives, goals and actions of the people and groups in the resistance, and finally of the reactions of the National Socialist state to the challenge of the resistance opens up the different and diverse dimensions of all efforts directed against the National Socialist dictatorship.

The barrier-free permanent exhibition is supplemented by an extensive range of media and accompanying materials as well as an audio guide in seven languages and a video tour in German sign language.
