Family day and anniversary celebration

120 years Bode-Museum

The Bode Museum is celebrating! On October 18, 120 years ago, the landmark at the top of the Museum Island opened its doors for the first time. Today, the building houses the Sculpture Collection and the Museum of Byzantine Art as well as the Coin Cabinet. To mark the occasion, we invite you to an anniversary celebration with a wide range of activities for the whole family. On Saturday, October 19, from 10 am to 6 pm, you can look forward to a program with guided tours in German and English, lectures on the history of the museum, a photo station, workshops on printing and sculpture in the children's gallery, a search for clues through the museum and many other activities. There are also great offers to discover in the museum café and bookshop.
