Bosch & Beyond

The immersive exhibition experience ‘Bosch & Beyond’ is dedicated to the life and work of the world-famous Renaissance artist Hieronymus Bosch.

This unique exhibition at the Kühlhaus Berlin uses state-of-the-art technology to immerse visitors in the mysterious and bizarre worlds of Bosch's paintings. The Bosch & Beyond exhibition takes visitors on a three-stage journey of discovery:

First level: the journey begins with Bosch's universal themes of morality and sin, temptation and redemption, providing a deeper understanding of his work.

Second level: Bosch's works of art are presented in a dynamic show. The paradisiacal utopias and apocalyptic visions can be viewed down to the smallest detail, while the religious imagery of the period between the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance is brought to life.

Third level: The final part of the exhibition shows how contemporary artists are reinterpreting Bosch's ideas and images in the digital age. Using artificial intelligence, sound art, digital animation, painting, sculpture and installation, twelve internationally recognised artists, including some award-winning talents, open up a modern perspective on Bosch's masterpieces.

Opening hours: Monday to Thursday from 11am to 7pm, Friday to Sunday from 10am to 8pm
