Body Worlds: Facets of Life

The Body Worlds (Körperwelten) exhibition in Berlin is dedicated to the theme "Facets of Life". Secure your tickets for your visit in 2024 and discover FR:EIA - the new highlight of the exhibition and the world's first human 3D fascia plastinate.

In his Körperwelten exhibitions, Dr. Gunther von Hagens opens up the human body and makes the fragile structures of life, which are worth protecting, visible to medical laypeople. Together with curator Dr. Angelina Whalley, he shows the facets of life in the exhibition in Berlin-Mitte - between happiness and unhappiness, pressure and balance, coincidence and destiny, body obsession and body oblivion as well as excess and modesty.

The museum opened its doors in Berlin in 2015. It is located on Alexanderplatz directly in front of the Berlin TV Tower. Since then, visitors have had the opportunity to marvel at unique plastinates. These provide a deep insight into the highly complex interior of the human body. Interested visitors gain detailed knowledge about organ functions and common diseases, all presented in an easily understandable way. The lifelike poses create a direct connection to the viewer. What connects us, what keeps us upright and moving, what makes us laugh and love? Body Worlds provides you with answers to these and many other questions. Prepare yourself for a deeply moving and inspiring encounter with life. Don't miss out on a visit and experience the fascination of plastination.
