KÖRPERWELTEN Museum Berlin - Facetten des Lebens

Die Ausstellung KÖRPERWELTEN in Berlin widmet sich dem Thema „Facetten des Lebens“.

Dr. Gunther von Hagens öffnet in seinen Körperwelten-Ausstellungen den menschlichen Körper und macht die fragilen, schützenswerten Strukturen des Lebens für medizinische Laien sichtbar. Gemeinsam mit Kuratorin Dr. Angelina Whalley zeigt er in der Ausstellung in Berlin-Mitte die Facetten des Lebens – zwischen Glück und Unglück, Druck und Ausgleich, Zufall und Fügung, Körperversessenheit und Körpervergessen sowie Maßlosigkeit und Bescheidenheit.

Das Museum öffnete 2015 seine Pforten in Berlin. Es ist am Alexanderplatz direkt vor dem Berliner Fernsehturm beheimatet. Seitdem haben die Besucherinnen und Besucher die Möglichkeit eine Vielzahl einzigartiger Plastinate zu bestaunen. Diese geben einen tiefen Einblick in das hochkomplexe Innere des menschlichen Körpers. So erhalten Interessierte ein detailliertes Wissen über Organfunktionen und häufige Krankheiten, all das leicht verständlich vermittelt. Durch die lebensnahen Posen wird ein unmittelbarer Bezug zu den Betrachtenden hergestellt.

The first BODY WORLDS museum presents unique plastinates that show the function of individual organs as well as common diseases. It gives insights into the highly complex and structures of the human bod and shows what connects us, keeps us upright and in motion and what makes us laugh and love.

In his Körperwelten exhibitions, Dr. Gunther von Hagens opens up the human body and makes the fragile structures of life, which are worth protecting, visible to medical laypeople. Together with curator Dr. Angelina Whalley, he shows the facets of life in the exhibition in Berlin-Mitte - between happiness and unhappiness, pressure and balance, coincidence and destiny, body obsession and body oblivion as well as excess and modesty.

The museum opened its doors in Berlin in 2015. It is located on Alexanderplatz directly in front of the Berlin TV Tower. Since then, visitors have had the opportunity to marvel at unique plastinates. These provide a deep insight into the highly complex interior of the human body. Interested visitors gain detailed knowledge about organ functions and common diseases, all presented in an easily understandable way. The lifelike poses create a direct connection to the viewer.
