Alona Harpaz: Future breeze

Alona Harpaz's exhibition features not only her mostly colorful paintings, but also installations and a short film trilogy she created.

Since the late 1990s, Alona Harpaz has concentrated on painting, which she has exhibited internationally. In recent years, she has expanded her artistic repertoire to include installations and has also created a short film trilogy entitled Salt, which can be seen here. In 2013, she founded Circle 1, a platform for contemporary, Israeli and international art in Berlin.

Alona Harpaz was born in Israel in 1971, studied painting in Jerusalem and photography in New York.Alona Harpaz moved from Israel to Germany over 20 years ago. The artistic confrontation with the complex problems of our time is a great challenge. Alona Harpaz also enters into a dialog with Kurt Mühlenhaupt. In addition to the joy of depicting flowers and the often bold, cheerful colors that the two artists share, parallels can also be found in their depictions of people.

The exhibition will be opened by Hannah Dannel, Christina Thesing and guests of honor. Andreas Domke sings his current program "Wie jetzʼ ?".
