Even in fall and winter, the forest has something edible, fragrant and healthy to offer. Evergreen conifers that smell of orange and whose needles are full of vitamin C or nutritious fruit from deciduous trees. On a walk through the botanical garden, we take a closer look at the native deciduous and coniferous trees. How can I tell the edible conifers from the poisonous evergreen yew? What does the Douglas fir smell like? What edible fruits can I find in the forest and how can we use them in the kitchen? The workshop concludes with a tasting of the "fruits of the forest" and the preparation of a small delicacy from the forest.

The workshop will be conducted by the speaker Nina Fuchs (biologist and consultant for self-sufficiency with edible wild plants) on behalf of the Botanical Garden.
