in german

On Museum Sunday, the museum is offering public guided tours in a workshop format in the current special exhibition “Open House: One Hundred Years of a Mosque in Berlin”.  Individual explorations and group discussions based on activating questions are offered: What can the history of the Wilmersdorf Mosque tell us about German-Muslim relations? What do the diverse identities of the members of the community tell us about the Islam then practised in Berlin? After a group discussion, creative exploration of the topics discussed will be open to interested visitors.

This event is supported by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion for the prevention of anti-Semitism and the promotion of interreligious dialogue.

Booking: Limited number of participants. Registration at museum[at]charlottenburg-wilmersdorf.de or 030 - 90 29 24 106.
