Film screening followed by a discussion about pushbacks in Greece. An evening organized by Project ELPIDA and PRO ASYL.

For 15 years, photojournalist Giorgos Moutafis has followed the journey of refugees across Europe's borders. Hopelessness, death and exhaustion due to a never-ending struggle and pushbacks are their constant companions. Giorgos Moutafis documents this journey and captures the brutality of the European border regime in images. His camera delves into inaccessible places and documents the stories of people who risk everything in search of a life in safety. 

Following the film, we look forward to a discussion with PRO ASYL and Project ELPIDA. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for informal exchange and networking with drinks and snacks.   

For 15 years, photojournalist Giorgos Moutafis accompanied the way of refugees across Europe's borders. His documentary shows fellow human beings who risk EVERYTHING to arrive in safety.
