Workshop as part of the children's culture month

October is all about children. Every weekend this month there are numerous free events for Berlin’s children. The city’s museums, cultural institutions, theatres and music and art schools open their doors with a colourful programme for young and old.

For this year’s Berlin KinderKulturMonat, the Kollwitz Museum is offering a print course for children aged 8 to 12.

In the print workshop at the Kollwitz Museum, you will learn the techniques of linocut. You will develop and print your own motifs, inspired by the works of Käthe Kollwitz, initially as individual pictures. Subsequently, a joint linocut print will be created by all participants. For this purpose, all lino plates will be printed together – the result is a complete work of art that is worth seeing!

The resulting prints can of course be taken home.

Please bring an apron or an old T-shirt.
