Building prototypes for the city of the future

What could mobility look like in the city of the future? Which vehicles could we use to get around? With the installation Fantastic Mobility installation by BADABOOMBERLIN, you can playfully design vehicle prototypes for the city of the future in the Futurium Lab.
WHAT IS AN OPEN LAB EVENING?
Every Thursday, things get creative in the lab. You will learn about methods such as design thinking or future storytelling, can try out 3D printers and laser cutters and take a look behind the scenes of the lab projects. There's something new every week.
In this Open Lab evening, you will get to know Daniel Huber from BADABOOMBERLIN. You will hear exciting stories about the creative process and what it takes to create an installation.
Afterwards, you will get creative yourself and explore the question of how new technologies can be combined with old arts. You will work together on digital images and films with paper cuttings and use interactive machines to assemble these parts into a single moving image.

Daniel Huber loves to create intense spatial experiences. He works freelance in concept development, interactive design and programming for events and exhibitions. Daniel's professional experience over the last fifteen years has ranged from creating new tools for artistic expression in dance to immersive and interactive environments. He brings traditional media together with new technologies to create something that inspires people to play and tell stories.
