Guided tour on the eventful history of the palace, its residents and their guests with palace director Petra Reichelt, SPSG

Schloss Caputh, um 1910

Schloss Caputh, um 1910

It was not only electors and kings who shaped the history of the palace. The estate was also a manufactory and private home. And the von Thümen and von Willich families housed many a writer within its walls. During the GDR era, a municipal vocational school moved in, where photography, food and photo laboratory technology were taught. This tour presents the eventful history of the castle as well as new aspects of research. We obtained a lot of information from the archives and historical sources, but also from conversations with descendants and contemporary witnesses. We would therefore be delighted to enter into a dialog with you.Translated with DeepL
