On admission-free Museum Sunday, live speakers in the exhibition provide insights into everyday life and Christmas customs two hundred years ago.

From Advent to the New Year, the historic Knoblauchhaus is transformed into a festively decorated Christmas house from the Biedermeier era. A giant nutcracker, a Berlin Christmas pyramid and much more await you in the historic ambience of one of Berlin's oldest preserved town houses.

Our guides offer further exciting insights into the Christmas customs of the era and the time between the end of the Napoleonic Wars in 1815 and the revolution of 1848 on the admission-free museum Sunday, and will be happy to answer your questions.
