To mark the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Berlin Wall Foundation, in cooperation with the Asisi-Panorama at Checkpoint Charlie, is offering a live speaking event and discussions with contemporary witnesses and Yadegar Asisi on the occasion of the exhibition "Let us in! The Opening of the Wall at Checkpoint Charlie",the Foundation is offering live speaking and discussions with contemporary witnesses and Yadegar Asisi. Our guides will be on site to answer your questions, explore the historical traces of the border crossing and tell its story as a hotspot of the Cold War. Just talk to them!

At 3 p.m., Jochen Krüger will talk to contemporary witness Mathias Brauner, the photographer behind the pictures in the "Let us in!" exhibition, about his pictures and his experiences on the night of November 9, 1989.

At 4 pm, Dr. Susanne Muhle will talk to Yadegar Asisi, the founder of the Asisi Panorama, about his West Berlin perspective on the Wall and the fall of the Wall.
