Lea Streisand meets Flix

Lea Streisand trifft Flix – Bildcollage Streisand und Flix

Flix is a comic artist and lives in Berlin. He is Lea Streisand's neighbour and has saved Christmas somehow.

The two of them usually meet by chance at the ice cream parlour.

When they meet up, they talk a lot of nonsense. Sometimes this results in art, most recently the comic ‘Wie geht's dir?’ for the book ‘Sind Antisemitisten anwesend?’, which Lea Streisand co-edited in September 2024.

Flix will be showing his best comics on the big stage at the Brotfabrik (we'll be switching on the projector!) and Lea Streisand will be presenting her latest texts and other ideas.

It will be very funny!

Flix's comics appear in various newspapers (‘Tagesspiegel’, ‘Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung’, ‘Dein SPIEGEL’ and others), are available as books from CARLSEN VERLAG, win heaps of prizes and have been translated into nine languages. Flix is currently writing his first novel.

Lea Streisand writes novels, essays and columns and is known for her radio column ‘war schön jewesen’ on radioEINS.

Every two months, she meets inspiring personalities she thinks are great for readings and talks on the big stage of the Brotfabrik.

The book table is organised by the Pankebuch bookshop.
