The Museum Lichtenberg is offering curator-led tours of the "Remembering in Lichtenberg" exhibition. At the same time, a creative workshop will take place, which is open to all visitors.
The exhibition "Remembering in Lichtenberg" uses seven themes to invite visitors to discover the Lichtenberg memorial landscape together. It ranges from the storming of the Ministry of State Security to the Friedrichsfelde Central Cemetery, from Friedrichsfelde Palace to an urban planning project for a colonial quarter in Karlshorst, from the Rummelsburg workhouse and the "Wuhlheide labor education camp" during the Nazi era to the contract workers of the GDR.
Curators Dr. Margret Kampmeyer-Käding and Thomas Irmer will guide visitors through the exhibition, which will also be complemented by an extensive accompanying program.
Admission, guided tour and workshop are free of charge; registration is not necessary.
