Group tour: Plant geography - The world in a garden

Visitors to the Berlin Botanical Garden can travel around the world in a short space of time.

A 13-hectare walk takes you from Europe via the Alps and the Himalayas to Asia and from there on to North America. The extraordinary landscape architecture was conceived and designed by the first director of the garden at the Dahlem site, Adolf Engler. It makes the Berlin Botanical Garden unique in the world.

Together with our experts, you will wander through forests, mountains, meadows and steppes, discover plants from three continents and immerse yourself in Engler's living legacy.
