The Deutsche Kinemathek is packing up and moving to a new location. The permanent exhibition closes its doors at the end of October 2024. Our curators are taking this as an opportunity to focus on the exhibition once again and share their views on selected exhibits and stories with the public. As part of "Curators' choice", they will visit their personal selection of favorite objects, tell object stories and share special museum experiences.

A guided tour with media curator Nils Warnecke on the film and fashion icon Marlene Dietrich and her extensive estate, which is preserved at the Kinemathek. The collections and permanent exhibition contain props, film and show costumes, everyday objects and impressive documents of contemporary history. They provide an in-depth insight into Dietrich's life, as well as the history of the collection.Translated with DeepL
