For Museum Sunday on August 4, there will be a curator's tour and a creative workshop at Museum Lichtenberg.
At 2 pm, curator Ricardo Neuner will guide visitors through the special exhibition "The Last Parade. 30 years of the withdrawal of Russian troops from Berlin". After almost 50 years of deployment, this withdrawal marked the end of the Cold War in Germany. The exhibition shows what this phase of upheaval looked like and what traces remain in Karlshorst to this day.
A creative workshop will take place at the same time between 2 and 4 pm. Visitors young and old can live out their (Lichtenberg) imagination and create their own works of art. The workshop is suitable for families, amateurs, professionals, old and new Lichtenberg residents.
