High summer temperatures with decreasing rainfall and increasing weather extremes such as storms and heavy rainfall are now posing an existential threat to the trees, shrubs and designs of the listed parks. On a tour of the Ruinenberg and central areas of the garden, participants will learn about the effects of climate change using specific examples.
