You will gain interesting insights into the working-class neighbourhood, where many backyards were home to craft businesses, haulage companies, cowsheds and real factory buildings such as the sausage factory at Knobelsdorffstraße 15. The traditional Engelhardt brewery brewed its ‘Charlottenburger Pilsener’ in Danckelmannstraße until 1983.
