After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, Berlin found itself in a transit space between past and future. Characterized by political upheaval and social inequality, the 1990s also stand for the blossoming of a self-confident, young generation that is rediscovering urban spaces for itself. The exhibition sheds light on the profound transformation of the city as well as the contradictions and uncertainties of this decade. C/O Berlin takes a look at the archives of nine OSTKREUZ photographers who documented the decade, including Annette Hauschild, Maurice Weiss and Harald Hauswald.

Accompany the photographers together with curator Boaz Levin on an exclusive guided tour through the exhibition and learn more about the stories behind the series on display. Receive unique background information on selected works that provide an individual view of the turbulent 90s in Berlin.
