Eine Reise durch Wiederholungen, Ekstase und Transformation: Die Performance „SPELL“ des Choreografen und Tänzers Igor Shyshko, die im Rahmen des „VOICES“ Festival im Radialsystem uraufgeführt wird, ist eine wirbelnde Kontemplation von zwei Tänzer*innen und einem Live-Musiker über den Zustand der Welt.
„SPELL“ ist eine rituelle Choreografie über Erschöpfung und die Mehrdeutigkeit von Wiederholungen. In der Repetition liegt eine Kraft, die fast wie ein Zauber wirkt: Die immer wiederkehrende Ausführung derselben Geste lädt sie mit trotziger Kraft auf und macht sie zu einer Form des politischen Widerstands. „SPELL“ ist eine verkörperte Beschwörung, die der Ohnmacht unseres täglichen Widerstands gegen das Chaos, das uns umgibt, trotzt. In einer magischen Geste fordern wir unsere alltäglichen Handlungen zurück und verwandeln sie in ein dynamisches Netz somatischer Neuinterpretationen.
