Two bodies joined in a strange way, two people trapped in an incomprehensible relationship; how did they get there? What binds them? Why can’t they separate?

The depth of human relationships can be abyssal. Sometimes, the bond between two people is stronger than their reason or will, to the point where the individual gets lost in the duality. These are bonds woven by the unconscious and forged by what is hidden within the relationship itself; bonds that go beyond rational understanding because they are visceral and often remain in the realm of intuition.

The term “person” comes from Latin and meant “mask” in the context of theater. We all wear masks and relate to others through them, they identify us, but also conceal our deepest selves, often even from ourselves.

What happens when we fall into an intimate love-hate relationship? What attracts and repels us from the other? Is the other truly the cause of my conflicts? Who am I to the other?
