Cairo's famous journalist Rose al-Youssef has the honor of accompanying the final preparations for director Nawal Amin's new stage play. But dark clouds hang over the production. The director seems to have all kinds of enemies. And does she really only have her own work to thank for her success?

When a death occurs shortly before the premiere, Rose al-Youssef is alarmed and on the trail of the alleged murderer.
