Roberta Mameli, Margret Koell, and Michele Pasotti—previously heard at the Pierre Boulez Saal as part of various Early Music formations—make their debut as a trio, presenting a musical homage to matters of the heart. In vocal works by composers from Caccini to Corelli, the tender interplay of words and sounds reveals the depth and richness of human emotion as it was celebrated in 17th-century music and literature.
