In fact, the opulent sound of Nathy Peluso ("Ateo", "Bzrp Session Vol. 36") has been causing ever greater shockwaves in the Spanish-speaking world since the beginning of the decade. With her current second album "GRASA", she has now reached the tipping point: the Barcelona-based Argentinian combines Latin trap, alt-R&B and futuristic neo-soul with salsa, flamenco and even bachata to create an explosive sound, which she frames with grandiose visuals and breathtaking performances - which has earned her around 5m followers on Instagram and TikTok alone.
