The Kulturstiftung Schloss Britz presents the fourth concert in the ‘Composer!’ series in collaboration with conductor Andréa Huguenin Botelho.

The singer Marietta Piragine, known from productions such as The Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast, will perform together with young talents from her Berlin Music Theatre School.

The concert includes songs from musicals written by composers such as Jeanine Tesori, Allee Willis, Nell Benjamin, Carole King, Anaïs Mitchell and Sara Bareilles.

For several years, Andréa Botelho has passionately dedicated herself to the task of preserving and promoting the legacy of these impressive female composers.

Supported by the Archiv Frau & Musik Frankfurt, the concert series highlights works by female composers who, despite their significant contribution to music history, are often overshadowed.
