Jonas Urbat & Puppenphilharmonie Berlin

Family concert for the Year of the Tuba 2024 at the Musikinstrumenten-Museum

Tuba-Impression – Tuba-Impression

Tuba-Impression – Tuba-Impression

The tuba takes center stage in one of the enchanting productions by the Puppenphilharmonie Berlin. The puppets create a bridge to the music, fostering openness and curiosity. Both adults and children alike can enjoy the performance on an aesthetic and musical level.

Composer and tubist Jonas Urbat also works in an innovative way. As a co-founder of the "Stegreif" Orchestra, he gained experience in the choreography and performance of classical compositions. With his experimental formats, he seeks new ways to combine music and technology.

The concert is part of the exhibition "Deep brass. A brief history of low brass instruments" to mark the Year of the Tuba 2024 at the Musikinstrumenten-Museum. It is supported by the Landesmusikrat Berlin and the Buffet Crampon brands B&S Markneukirchen Klingenthal and Melton, Meinl, Weston.

The concert is suitable for children aged 3 and over.
