Organ concert with Prof Dr Dean W. Billmeyer (University of Minnesota, USA)

Prof Billmeyer is a grandchild of Karl Straube and is very familiar with the history of German Bach interpretation. He plays works by J. S. Bach (Prel. and Fugue in B minor and C major, BWV 544 / 547) according to the Straube edition as well as American organ symphonies (including Sowerby: Comes Autumn time)

The organ in St. Marien is the largest substantially preserved organ work by Anton Feith senior and was completely renovated in 2018/2019. All organists of the organ cycle play from the mobile console in the church and can be seen during the concert.
