Ode to Peace Bundesjugendorchester and World Youth Choir in Concert

The orchestra presents works by Beethoven and a commissioned composition by Tan Dun.

Ludwig van Beethoven's 9th Symphony is a masterpiece of music history that celebrates its 200th anniversary this year. Germany's youngest top orchestra, the Bundesjugendorchester, will perform it together with the World Youth Choir in Berlin's Gedächtniskirche. The composer Tan Dun presents young people with the Choral Concerto: Nine. This work was commissioned by the German Music Council, BTHVN2020, Royal Philharmonic Society, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Deutsche Welle.
