    The Dutch Film Orchestra

The Dutch Film Orchestra is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2024. As the highlight of the anniversary year, they are coming to Berlin to give two concerts and spread their passion for film music beyond Dutch concert halls. In these celebratory concerts, they will play their favorite pieces from programs of the last few years. All kinds of genres will be included, from action-adventures like "Pirates of the Caribbean" and “The Lord of the Rings” to classics like "West Side Story" and “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly,” from music from animated family favorites such as "The Little Mermaid" and “How to Train Your Dragon” to the magical world of “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.”

---The Dutch Film Orchestra (NFO) is the only amateur orchestra in the Netherlands that is entirely dedicated to film music. The members are mainly advanced amateurs with a passion for film music. The orchestra is conducted by Sander Vredenborg and has made a name for itself by providing many unique productions. Film and musical themes, touching ballads, swinging jazz, and spectacular show music are regular parts of the repertoire, complemented by stunning custom-made visuals.
