Concert for choir and organ

Vocal ensemble Arcanum (conducted by Patrick Orlich) and organ (Prof. Dr Robert Knappe) with works from the Romantic and early modern periods for choir and organ (S. Karg-Elert: Näher mein Gott zu dir; J. Kromolicki: Schönster Herr Jesu; H.-M. Dombrowski: Ich will dich lieben; A. Beach: aus Four Canticals; organ solo: F. Mendelssohn: Sonata No. 4 in B flat major).

The organ in St. Marien is the largest substantially preserved organ work by Anton Feith senior and was completely renovated in 2018/2019. All organists of the organ cycle play from the mobile console in the church and can be seen during the concert.
