This time, the orchestra will perform his symphonic arrangements of "Das Wandern ist des Müllers Lust" and "Komm, lieber Mai" based on Mendelssohn and Wagner, among others. With his compositions and arrangements, Philip Douvier makes it possible for dedicated amateur musicians to access and play great works of classical literature. He guides the orchestra sensitively and pedagogically through all the crises of playing together, imparts a great deal of experience from his everyday life as a professional musician and arouses enthusiasm in young and old alike. The Dahlem Chamber Orchestra brings together players aged between 10 and 88.
