The uniqueness of Dussmann Culture Department Store stems from the fact that it only sells products related to culture like books, DVDs, CDs and notes.

Dussmann Culture Department Store is located in the City East close to Friedrichsstraße station. Ever since its opening in 1997 it follows the concept to offer only products that are related to culture. They are presented on a sales space of 7,300 square metres stretched over five floors.

Dussmann provides all sorts of books in separated departments. Customers can find new books as well as classics, from novels to crime and non-fiction books. Audio books are also available, and there is a large section with foreign language books and an own English bookshop.

Classic, Pop, Rock and Jazz Music

The music division provides a wide array of CDs and even vinyl records. It is divided into several departments which are specialized on various music genres. The well-sorted offers range from classical music and opera, to pop music, jazz, rock and electronic music. Musicians will find a large selection of scores and music books in the department store.

Film department and cultural events

The Culture Department Store has a department for films. The offered DVDs and Blu-Rays include European films as well as American and international movies and series. A special feature of Dussmann are the cultural events like concerts and readings.
